Teens need to learn and practice the good manners and interpersonal skills that will allow them to be successful in life. Our teen classes are designed to be both fun and educational.

Tween Essentials

This class is designed to help boost confidence and build self-esteem that is needed during these very important “preteen and teen years.” Topics include:

  • Personal Presentation Skills: Make your “First Impression” a lasting one. Learn the five essential skills needed.
  • Social Skills: Proper introductions, meeting and greeting people, getting along with others, handling difficult situations responsibly, and other social skills are discussed.
  • Manners Do Make A Difference: Open doors of opportunity with good manners, basic politeness, table manners, gadget etiquette, correspondence, and other occasion appropriate etiquette.
  • Character Counts: Do you have the character needed to succeed? Respect, honesty, and integrity are just a sample of the many topics that are addressed.
  • Appearance: Image is a big concern for today’s teen. Dressing appropriately for an occasion, the importance of good hygiene, and how piercing and tattoos effect our lives long term, are just a few subjects addressed.

Teen Essentials

Teen essentials is customized to prepare,equip, and train today’s young adult for their future goals, hurtles and even road bumps that they will encounter along the way. The skills learned in this valuable working seminar will add confidence and self esteem to each student. The topics that are addressed are pertinent to daily life.

  • First Impressions: First impressions are so important. How one presents one’s self speaks volumes. What are the essential skills needed to make our first impressions our best impressions.
  • Social Skills: Social skills are necessary to interact smoothly with others. Meetings and Greetings , Proper Introductions, and Getting Along With Others, are the focal points in this session.
  • Etiquette Essentials: Good manners are essential for success. Table manners,cell phone, i pod, and other gadget etiquette, appropriate etiquette for all occasions (theaters, weddings, elevators, hotels,etc.) and proper correspondence are just a few of the many skills covered.
  • Character Counts: Are you a person of character? Character is a choice of action. Character is what builds a reputation. Respect, honesty, and integrity are just a few of the character traits discussed.
  • Personal Appearance: If we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, then why do we? Subconsciously we all come to conclusions based on what we see. Do you portray the image you want? Good hygiene, piercing, tattoos, and other image essentials will be discussed.
  • Interviewing: Each student will have an opportunity to fill out their own job application. Interview tips and techniques will be demonstrated as they observe a mock interview.
  • Dating: What does dating look like in today’s society? Should a guy help a girl on with her coat? Who pays the bill? What does one look for when choosing a date, or when excepting one? What about showing respect and value to the person you’re with? All of this is discussed, plus more, in this fun and interesting session.
  • Each class includes a four-course dining experience.

Image Counts! Workshop

Offered as a separate workshop, this workshop provides each girl the opportunity to define and develop her unique image.

  • Nail Care
  • Taking Care and Maintaining Healthy Skin
  • Make-Up Tips and Technique
  • Color Analysis
  • Dressing to compliment”. Trendy, Yet Tasteful

Each girl will have an opportunity to practice new make-up skills with actual hands-on application. Each girl is encouraged to bring her own make-up, or it may be provided.

Special Events Training

Special events such as homecoming and prom are the highlights of the year for many. Events such as these require special attention to detail, including one’s social skills and good manners. This workshop is a fun and entertaining way to brush up on those basics and attend your event with confidence.  It is perfect for schools.

My commitment is to encourage, support and equip each student to their fullest potential. I want this to be a positive and pleasant learning experience for each student.

Special considerations and efforts will be made for any child with learning disabilities, so that no student will feel embarrassed or slighted.

A minimum enrollment is mandatory for the class to take place. If the minimum attendance is not met, you have the option to register for another date, or receive a full refund.
